Augusta Mayor's Office
In early 2021, I had the pleasure of getting to work in my community at the Augusta Mayor's Office at the capacity of a graphic design intern. However, my experiences were more than just design work. I got to do photoshoots of the mayor and the commission, work with various teams for events and campaigns, and work with different people like stylists, photographers, and marketing teams.
Eagle Gala Lookbook
This was the first project I was given when working with the Mayor's Office. It is a multi-page lookbook for the annual Eagle Gala. They needed specific looks inspired by local gems (such as sports teams, colleges, etc.) to be showcased so party-goers would be able to dress for the occasion. I also had the pleasure of working with both photographers and stylists for this book.
I went with a simple, yet elegant aesthetic, so it would be on brand for the event, and was simple enough to keep the outfits the main element.
American Jobs Plan Infographic
This series of infographics were based on Biden's American Jobs Plan, specifically how it would impact the greater Augusta area.
Other Work
Many of these are stand alone projects, individual flyers, or temporary work.
Augusta Talks Logo
Augusta Talks was modeled after the Fireside Chats given by Roosevelt during the 90s. The Mayor wanted a way to connect more to the public and to interact with the community, so they created the Augusta Talks. I was in charge of the logo design for this campaign.
Move With the Mayor Flyer
A stand alone flyer for a walk the Mayor's office was hosting.
Holiday Social Posts
Additionally, they gave me the opportunity to make posts to go on their Facebook and Instagram for various holidays.
